Barring injury you would have to believe that as a young lefty that has had success in the past, he still possesses value. It's possible his performance over the last 2 years has been effected by the lack of talent around him. He may not be a #1 but wouldn't be less than a #3 starter on most any staff. A team with a need for a lefty starter would be foolish to not at least inquire as to what it would take to get him.
