Check out the episode. The Capital City Dome is a replica of the Astrodome down to their then famous score board. Goofball has a very similar look and snout of the Phillie Phanatic, my inspiration of whom I spoke at every chance. We even had the same end of season "good-bye" ceremony in Tucson as they do in the episode in which while in costume I bid farewell to my "fans" just as Homer did. Thanks for the great story Coley.
