Even if they improve, they are improving upon last place. And where is the improvement going to come from? If they had gotten Peavy, maybe they'd have had a shot at something, but then again, the problem is not the pitching - it's the offense and the defense. You imply that you watch these guys on a daily basis. Have you been watching Ramirez and Getz "play" shortstop and second? They can't hit and they can't field. Stop smoking it immediately. You can crunch all the numbers you want, but these guys will improve and they will be in the thick of the AL Central race by the end of June. Case in point they've hit two home runs in their last two wins, hit zero home runs in their 20-1 spanking courtesy of the Twins.
