I mean, it's true that most of those kinds of pics don't pan out, but there are always exceptions (Mike Piazza, etc.), so while one pic might be wasted on a nepotism choice with little chance of harm, wasting that many seems pretty stupid. yikes, thanks for sharing, melissa, that is pretty amazing. Harold Baines Jr. was selected by the Sox in the 45th round, his father is of course the former Sox player and current first base coach, Harold Baines. Grant Monroe was selected in the 46th round and he is the son of Sox adviser Larry Monroe. In the 48th round Matthew Little, son of White Sox advance scout Bryan Little was picked up by the South Siders. I'm sure Kenny was disappointed when the Dodgers swiped Kirby Pellant out from under his nose in the 38th round as Kirby's Dad, Gary Pellant, is also a Sox scout.
