Hot Baseball Wife: Christina Markakis
If America’s single young women have not been paying close attention, they will be greatly disappointed to know that Orioles right fielder Nick Markakis (or as Umpbumper Sarah Green prefers to pronounce it, “Nick Mmmmmmarkakis”), is no longer on the market, having married his wife Christina this past offseason.
The former Christina Dutko, of Boca Raton, Florida, graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a degree in Education, and worked as an elementary school teacher and professional cycling aerobics traner before moving north to Baltimore to live with Nick and raise their child, son Taylor, who was born on March 11, 2009.
On May 29, Nick and Christina announced the establishment of the “Right Side Foundation,” which will focus on improving the lives of underprivileged children in the state of Maryland. No word on what will happen to the title of the foundation, a pun on the fact that Nick plays right field, if Nick ever switches positions.

You should have found some pictures of Mrs. Markakis without her Mr. there too. She is not unhot, but no one can stand next to his blinding hotness and appear undimmed.
Also…did you say they got married in the offseason, and their baby was born in March? Can you say “shotgun”?

She was a cleat chaser with minor leaguers before she met nick. Then she got him to knock her up so she could live the life of a pro athletes wife and reap the benefits. No more teachers salary anymore. Nicks former hook ups were alot hotter than this weathered he-she. By hook ups I mean the girls in different cities nick had while this gold digger was trying to get nick to knock her up.

@Sean, that was funny, but they did just release a study that shows that pulling out is actually only 2% less effective than condom use. Food for thought.

She looks like she’s 40 years old. Another crazy gets a pro athlete by having him knock her up. Who doesn’t use bc these days? I doubt nick actually wanted to settle down at the age of 24, esp when he was partying with gorgeous girls who weren’t looking to suck him for all his moneys worth (teachers salary old hag)

The only thing ugly are the comments. So many negative people here. It’s really sad. You all don’t even know this person and yet you form these nasty opinions based on what? hate? why is everyone have to be so negative. Especially with the insults and the “mcnair” comment showing no respect or class.
If one has nothing nice to say, its better to say nothing at all, especially when you have no relation to this person unlike myself.
Were all entitled to our own opinions, it’s just a shame so many have to be classless.
