Last week, we asked you to vote for who you would like to see enshrined in baseball’s Hall of Fame. The verdict? If it were up to UmpBump readers, nobody would make it in. The leading vote getter (so far) is Jeff Bagwell, who has 60% support. Of course, in the real voting, players need 75% support to make it into the Hall.
The second-leading vote getter in our poll is Barry Larkin, who has 57% support. Tim Raines, who is in my opinion the most deserving candidate on the ballot, is at only 46%. And he was the second greatest leadoff hitter in the history of baseball!
Today, we found out Ron Santo was (finally!) voted in by the veterans committee. But will the Baseball Writers Association of America vote in a single player?

I think Larkin might have a shot. There’s a fair bit of juice on that list.
