Give me some of that lemonade!

In the summer of 2003, following college graduation, my buddies Zvee, Henry and I went on a baseball park road trip. One of the first stops we made was at Camden Yards. It was a great game. Orioles v. Cubs. We had tickets right next to the home team’s dugout.

It was a week or so after Sammy Sosa got caught corking his bat and, midway through the game, one of the fans in the right field seats dumped a bag of corks on Sammy’s head. Then, later in the game, a drunk fan ran on the field and got clobbered by security. Priceless.

The highlight of the game, though, was the guy who sold lemonade in our section. Before he would give you your lemonade, he would make you shout your order. It wasn’t enough to be loud. You had to ask for a lemonade like you were Macho Man Randy Savage — growling the request, but raising your voice for the last syllable.

Anyway, here’s the video, which is a little grainy. But I think you get the idea.
